Good Morning World,
It is ten minutes til two pm here in Madrid. Let me just say that it has been a true adventure to say the least. First off, Everyone arrived at the airport at noon ready to rock and roll. We waited like good little boys and girls for our airplane. When our flight finally started to board, we all were super excited and ready to go. However it was not to be. Our airplane had a dent it in so we had a 2 hour delay.We are a large group, so our instructors had a hard time getting us all on the same flight. So we all went from Detroit to Amsterdam and then from Amsterdam to Madrid. When we finally got to Madrid, our baggage wasn't there as well. So we are now in Madrid without our baggage and 7 hours late. But everyone is Safe and enjoying themselves! That's all for now. Next to come is our adventures in the Reina Sofia, the Museum.

Great ready for my adventure!
Good Morning My Wonderful Friends,
It is two days before I leave on my great adventure and I still have so much to do. I need to finish packing, do some research on my report that is due. Guess who's report is first... *Raises her hand* Yep, thats right. Mine is. It's on Picasso as a young man. I will give the report at Reina Sofia Museum. Here is a picture of one of the paintings we will see. It is called the "Guernica".
How cool is it going to be, giving a report about Picasso in front of his body of work? Well I need to get back to preparing. I will write again, soon!

"Are you a mom?"
Hello World,
It is getting closer to the day of my departure to Spain. I am super excited for this new adventure. We had our class this past Saturday and it was nice to see everyone that will be sharing this experience with me.
Okay, so I wanted to share something cute with you. I worked today and I was ringing up a customer and her little girl. I was talking to the little girl asking her, her age and all that wonderful stuff. She was like am four and then kinda of out of the blue she asked me, "Are you a mom?", I was alittle surprised by her question, I had to take a moment to let it sink it. Then I told her,"No, am not a mom. But I do have a wonderful niece that is going to be six in March." She was like ah, like she expected me to be a mom, it was kinda of cute. What do you all think of the little girl? I think kids are so smart and sometimes I would love to know why they say the things they say.

Whitney Houston
As you all know we lost an amazing voice tonight. Whitney Houston was a Daughter, Mother, Sister and a very talented woman. Just like so many of us have lost people to their demons. Let us take this loss as a reminder to what is important to us all. Rest in Peace Whitney, may your family find peace during this hard time.

I made it!
Greetings World,In my last blog, I stated that I would be working midnights. Well, I did and I made it barely. The first night was okay, but the second night I got sick. I pushed though it with everything i had. It wasn't easy. I believe my body was upset with me for being up that late. DB who also was working the midnight shift with me, did an AWESOME job! She was a true blessing. We got the 4 major planograms done and I finished two more yesterday and already had two done before we started the major ones. There is four more planograms left that we need to have done by Feb 11th. Which is crazy! But whatever it'll get done. After the second midnight I had my Study Aboard orientation it was trip, so that will be interesting. Well, am off to my math class. Have a wonderful day, Everyone!

Here comes along couple of days!
Hello World,
It's 7:30am and it feels like I just went to bed. I closed last night so I got home from work around 10:45pm. Do you know how it is when you get home from work you can't go right to sleep? *points at herself* That is what happen to me. I had to try and stay up as late as I could because I have to work midnight shifts the next two nights. So I went to bed at 1am, got up at 7:15am. I have to leave the house by 8am to get to school on time, I have about a 45 mins drive to school. My class isn't til 9:30 this morning, but I have to allow for traffic, people don't know how to drive around here in the winter time. Then I have to find a parking place, which isn't usually to bad, but you never know. I hate taking chances with parking. Then after my math class I have to hurry over to the COB for my second class of the day. It will get over around 12:45. I am debating if I should stay a little after so that I can work on my grammar worksheet. However that means I will get less sleep today, because once I get home. I will have to try and sleep because my work shift tonight is 9pm til 6am. The same on Friday. Saturday day is the day am most worried about. I get off of work at 6am on Saturday but then I have to go to my Study Aboard Orientation/class for the first time at 10am so not a lot of sleep there lucky, my Best friend is driving. Well, world, I need to finish getting ready. I'll let you know if I make it though these next crazy days or so. :D I hope you have a wonderful day!
