Good Morning Wonderful World of the Web,
It's me again! :D But you already know that. Well I am writing today in regards to a customer asking me a question yesterday while I was at work. Brace yourself it is a very interesting question and one I am going to ask you. I will start with, I was on register, ringing the customer up, when she ask me point blank, " Are you Romanian?" It caught me alittle off guard and I smiled and said , "No, not that I know of. My family is alittle bit of everything and I have a lot of German in me." She continue with you look like you could be my sister's twin and we are Romanian. I smiled at her and told her I get that alot. People often think I am someone else. She smiled and continued on her way. My questions to you all is, " Has anyone asked you about your heritage? Have you ever been told you look like someone else, that you don't know who they are, that you could be twins? Leave me comments! I would love to hear what you have to say about this topic.

Sure, I have had several people ask me about my heritage, even though mine is somewhat obvious. One person even got fancy about it. They said, "You don't just look African American, you look like you are Cape Verdian." I simply said, "That sounds way too cool for me, but I do have a little dorkish in me." that was enough to earn me a smile and a quick change of subject. Sometimes it pays to be a dum-dum
