New Year, New Beginnings and Losses!

Hello World,
It's been like ages since I have written to you. To be honest, I believe September was the last time. Since that time a lot has changed in my life. Some good things and some bad.

I wrote the above on Jan 1, 2013 and didn't get a chance to finish it.  I have so much to say, but have had a lot of things happen since Jan 1, 2013.  There are a lot changes happening in my life. For one, my husband of five years and I  separated, we did that in September. I am still going to school,  the semester that just ended I was taking Math, American Film Genre and Business Law. I got an A, B+ and a B- in those classes. I am really proud of myself. Starting this Monday, I will be taking 4 classes. I will be taking another Math class, Television Lab, A News Radio and TV writing class and lastly a Radio and TV management class. I also am working full time. So I am going to be very busy. But busy is good. When your not busy you think too much.

On Jan 2nd, my cousin in law, Jessie, called me looking to see if I had seen my uncle, her father in law. I hadn't, she told me he was missing and that they were making a missing person report. The next morning, they used the technology of today's age (gps on cell phones) and located my uncle. He was sitting on a bench in a park off the Detroit River. He was gone, we are not 100% sure what happen. We believe it was self inflicted, because that is what all the evidences points too. All I could think of is, " I just don't understand, I just don't understand". This man had so much to live for. He had a beautiful and loving son, who was his best friend. A smart and adorable grandson that he loved and would do anything for. That idolized his "Paps" and his daughter in law.  I just don't understand.
But let me say this to everyone, If you are depressed and thinking about hurting yourself. There are people out there who want to help you. We love you and when you hurt yourself, you don't just hurt yourself but you hurt your loved ones and friends. Really think is it worth it?
